Mom of 7th grader at MS 442 in Brooklyn

I was interested in finding out more about the high school process but more importantly, I wanted my [7th grade] son to start committing to the process. The talk had the desired effect. He paid attention and gathered information. It may still not be his favorite subject but since that day we can talk openly about what to expect and the need to keep up his grades without push back from him. So, thank you for helping us get started on the long road ahead!

“We knew what we envisioned for our son’s middle school experience but found the whole process extremely overwhelming. You were so reassuring, empathetic and had amazing insights into each of the schools we were interested in (and those that weren’t even on our radar!) Thank you for taking the time to understand our family’s values and helping us navigate the process!”

"What was most helpful for us was learning about the little gems, that we would have had to do a lot of digging around to find on our own. Your rational approach and assurance that we will all be fine, and make fine choices for our children (the sky will not fall!), was also very encouraging. We appreciated the info about charter schools and Gifted &Talented and hearing the pros and cons, from your expert perspective."
